Birmingham-based automotive installations specialists RS Connect have appointed Lime Marketing to handle their social media platforms.
Lime Marketing, in Bromsgrove, will provide social media support for the business – which continues to grow its development plans at a rapid pace.
RS Connect, whose HQ is in Coleshill, installs around 35,000 black boxes each month for insurance policy holders, as well as a range of other vehicle safety products such as dash cams.
The company also fits out vehicle fleets with a variety of safety systems via its teams of installers and engineers across the UK.
RS Connect now boasts a turnover approaching £20million on the back of what CEO Lea Hodson calls “phenomenal” growth.
He said: “While we have always recognised the importance and value of social media, we are keen to take advantage of all the opportunities that it affords, which means a tailored approach for each of our platforms.
“We came to the conclusion that we could only do that by bringing in the expertise of an agency that can maximise the benefits to be gained from social, while we concentrate on what we do best – continuing to grow the business.”
RS Connect has been at the cutting edge of driver and vehicle safety for more than 20 years, and has built its own full-time academy delivering in-house training for its apprentices and existing workforce. They provide insurance telematics and fleet/vehicle installation services to the world’s leading fleet management companies and insurers.
Lime Marketing is a full service agency established more than ten years ago, offering expert services across a range of communications disciplines including social media, PR, digital, CRM, branding, training and activation.
Mark Whitehouse, PR and social media manager at Lime, said: “We’re delighted to be working with RS Connect at what is a very exciting time in their journey, and we’re looking forward to helping them ensure that the business continues to flourish in years to come.”
